Samir Geagea Expects Arab Military Intervention in Syria

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Tuesday that a potential deal between Iran and world powers will not alter the international community's stance regarding the Syrian regime, expecting pressure forcing Bachar Assad's departure to increase.

In an interview with France 24, Geagea anticipated an Arab military intervention in Syria; one that is similar to that being carried out in Yemen.

He also dismissed fears over the presence of Christians in the Middle East, deeming the prevailing unrest as no more than historic developments affliciting a high price on the region.
